1. To upload the share data (ASCII) to your metastock database, Click
    on the windows 9X "Start" button.  Run the "Metastock for Windows"
    program.

2. Click on "Tools - The Downloader".  "The Downloader" screen appears. 
    You need to have Metastock The Downloader 7.0 installed.

   

3. Click on the "Convert" Icon on the toolbar or click "Tool/Convert".  This
    Screen appear. 

   

4. Click on the "Options/Destination", Check the Traverse destination
    folders. And on the"Options/Source", check the Traverse source
    folders.
    You only need to do this ONCE!
    

  
    -  On the Source Box, Input File Type:  ASCII Text, Folder: c:\mdata 
        on Filename: go to "Browse"  & click the "Files of type" and choose
        "ASCII Files [*.prn]".

    -  All the ".prn" file appear on the screen. Select the "klse.prn" file.

    -  Click OPEN.
    -  On the Destination Box, Input File Type:  Metastock, Folder:
        c:\mdata.

       on Filename: go to "Browse". All the files in c:\mdata appear on the
       screen. 

       Select all the "folder"  (sector) files using shift-click. (Only select 22
       sectors "folder" files)

    -  Click SAVE.
    -  Click OK on the "Convert Securities".

4. Congratulation!  You did it.
